However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test, the i3+ doesn't have any obstacle-avoidance features which means it can get stuck on things such as socks or power cords and it may have trouble traversing transitions across surfaces like hardwood to carpet.

iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it might encounter. We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area.
