Study of Chinese Learners' Pedagogical Choices in Korean

Participants were 46 CLKs with upper-intermediate ability who provided responses to MQs and DCTs. They were also required to provide reflections on their assessments and their refusals to participate in RIs. The results showed that CLKs often resisted native Korean pragmatic norms, and their choices were influenced by four major factors that included their identities, their multilingual identities, ongoing lives, and 프라그마틱 슬롯 사이트 their relational affordances. First, the MQ data were analyzed to determine the participants' pragmatic choices. The data were classified according to Ishihara (2010)'s definition of pragmatic resistance. Then, the responses were compared to their linguistic performance in DCTs to determine whether they showed a pattern of resistance to pragmatics or not. Interviewees also had to explain the reasons for choosing an atypical behavior in certain situations.

The findings of the MQs and DCTs were then analysed using descriptive statistics and z-tests. It was discovered that the CLKs frequently used phrases like "sorry" and "thank you." A recent study sought to answer this question by employing a range of experimental tools, including DCTs, MQs, and RIs. However, it is prudent for future researchers to reassess their usefulness in particular situations and in different cultural contexts. This will help them better understand how different cultural environments may impact the pragmatic behavior of students in the classroom and beyond. The interviewees were given two scenarios, each involving a hypothetical interaction with their interlocutors and were asked to choose one of the following strategies to use when making an inquiry.
