The best robotic mop and vacuum Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst for Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His focus is on mopping and robot vacuum combinations. These multitaskers can be an excellent choice for those looking to remove mopping from their to-do lists. Some have great mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads themselves to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models which makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and Robot Vacuum And Mop object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through an efficient.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in one go. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to remove dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by a lot. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful to get into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot hoover and mop mop and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's simple to set up and works well however, this is something that you'll need to keep an eye on in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuums which mops in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners who want an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean efficiently and effectively. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean and is also quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach areas. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor near to walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be dried and washed to avoid build-up and lessen odors.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo allows you to alter the amount of suction, and choose between a back-andforth or more randomized pattern. You can also choose the number of passes which will determine the speed at which it can move around your home. You can also turn off the side brush in order to prevent damage to carpets and rugs.

It's expensive, but has many smart features. It's important to remember that it carries periodic costs in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter is recommended to be cleaned after 150 hrs, and the mop pads must be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuum mop is a top Amazon rating and comes with a wide range of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean button' and a 'Home' button to send it back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin, fills up its water tank, and wash and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good choice for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home tidy without spending too much time doing chores. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation and long battery life make it simple to maintain a clean house with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it can handle mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of the way. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping may seem a bit old-fashioned, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refueling the tank with water.

Our test subjects discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature was its precise floorplan, which it uses to create the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair from pets. It was able capture a lot of the hair our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots have struggled. It was silent and also had a few lovely jingles to indicated when it was about to start or completing its task.

The app was too simple and you had to alter the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app doesn't have the capacity to contain multiple maps, which can be a problem when you live in a house that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that is capable of vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni best robot cleaner vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock which serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base has a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to detect obstacles and furniture in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert on its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
