Its intelligent cleaning maps and fluid navigation make it simple to clean, and effective in tackling larger particles like pet hair. It also comes with a self-emptying dustbin with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. It's the best robot hoover for carpets, though it lags behind some competitors in deep cleaning.
This high-performance vacuum and mop utilizes sensor technology that can avoid obstacles and pet waste. It also learns the patterns of your home over time and provide better cleaning. The app allows you to modify zones and alter the cleaning schedule. Its battery life is average when compared to other models.

3. IRobot Roomba X40
With a sleek circular design that looks like a regular Roomba rather than the boxes, this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most attractive looking models in our evaluations. The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest model, with features that are cutting-edge like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).
It's the only robot vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 in our testing, thanks to a combination of high-tech sensors, including a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can completely autonomously refill and empty its base station and boasts an the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.
The X40, like other iRobot products, is easy to use. It has a simple mobile app interface that integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that the X40 is still a loud unit. This could be a problem in the mornings before work or during the night when you're trying to fall asleep.
It's also quite expensive but not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally impressive and attractive. It's a dual-purpose automatic vacuum cleaner and mop that is very efficient, but it's going to cost you more and produce more noise.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot automatic vacuum and mop and mop with a lot of advanced features to help you get rid of your chores. If you have a bigger home, it's worth selecting a model with a the option of cleaning zones or spots. This lets you tell the robot which area of your home must be cleaned using the app or voice command. If you have furniture, a stair mode is also a good option. For families that are busy recharge functions and resume feature that permits your robot vacuum to continue from where it left off can be very beneficial.
iRobot RX3
The RX3 is more intelligent than the price suggests. It does a stellar job cleaning, removing 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with only one pad and a reciprocating movement that cleans better that most of the mop cleaners with robots that we've tried. It's also self-sufficient with a full-featured app and a self-emptying base that can be washed.
The iRobot app is designed to help you navigate an exercise in mapping that collects data on your floorplan and any "no go" areas that you have marked on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules or organize a spot-clean. It can also be used to it to prioritize your dirtiest areas for greater efficiency. The app has a range of features, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping and advanced cleaning settings.
Its shape is more rectangular than other robot vacuum reviews vacuums, which means it can reach corners and underneath furniture better. It has a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction as well as intelligent combs to remove pet hair. You can also set up a spot cleaning that intensely cleans a localized area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and less expensive alternative to iRobot Roomba. It's more appealing, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras resemble cute eyes. It is great at vacuuming, but it is more likely to get caught in low thresholds. It is also louder than other top robot vacuums we have tested. It also comes with an app that's less intuitive and has a tiny base station that does not double as a bin for emptying.
